What we collect, why, and the choices you have, in plain language.
Last updated 17 September 2026
The short version
- We don't sell your data, and we don't track visitors with cookies.
- Your CV is processed in memory and isn't saved.
- Guest contacts in your Invite & Gift Cards belong to you and are never used for our marketing.
- bKash and Nagad payments are reviewed by hand. We never ask for your PIN or OTP.
- Marketing emails only if you opt in, with one-click unsubscribe.
01Who we are
Online Presence is an online service from Bangladesh for making a Portfolio, a Company Website, a Business Card and Invite & Gift Cards. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Online Presence website and dashboard, why, and the choices you have.
Sites and cards that our customers publish are run by those customers. When you visit someone's portfolio or open an invitation someone sent you, they decide what is on it.
02What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and profile picture from email sign-in or Google, handled by Firebase Authentication.
- What you build: the text, photos, links, themes and settings of your Portfolio, Company Website, Business Card and Invite & Gift Cards.
- Your CV, briefly: if you import a CV, it's processed in memory to draft your content and isn't saved. Only the content you review and keep is stored.
- Payments: for bKash or Nagad payments, the number you paid from, the transaction ID, the amount, an optional screenshot and note, and the result of our review.
- Guest contacts: names, phone numbers and emails you add to an Invite & Gift Card, plus delivery, open and RSVP status.
- Messages to us: what you send through the contact form, including your name, email and optional phone number.
- Visitor stats: pages viewed, the referring site, country, and browser and device type. See cookieless analytics below.
03How we use it
- To run your account, publish your sites and cards, and keep them online.
- To review payments by hand and switch on what you paid for.
- To deliver your invitations and cards by email or SMS when you choose to send them, and show you who opened and replied.
- To answer your messages and help when something goes wrong.
- To prevent abuse, fraud and spam, and to keep the service secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful so we can improve them.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use your content or your guests' details for advertising.
04Guest contacts in Invite & Gift Card
The guest list belongs to the person who created the card. They decide who to invite and are responsible for having a reasonable basis to contact those people. We process guest details only on their behalf: to deliver the card, show the guest's personal page, record RSVPs and blessings, and redeem vouchers.
We never send marketing to guests or add them to our mailing list. If you received an invitation and don't want to hear from the sender again, reply to them directly, or contact us and we'll help.
05Payments with bKash and Nagad
You pay us with Send Money from your own bKash or Nagad app. We never see or ask for your PIN or OTP, and we can't take money from your wallet. Each payment request is reviewed manually by our team against our wallet statement, and the outcome is shown on your billing page.
We keep payment records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute handling.
06Cookieless analytics
We count visits to our own pages and to published sites without cookies and without storing anything on the visitor's device. A visitor is recognised for one day only by a one-way code made from the date, IP address and browser; the IP address itself isn't saved. Raw page views are deleted after about 13 months.
We use a session cookie only to keep you signed in, and your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser.
07Marketing emails are opt-in
We only send news, new themes and offers if you tick the box to ask for them. We record what you agreed to and when. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing doesn't affect your account.
09What's public
Anything you publish, such as your portfolio, company website, Business Card or a card's shared page, can be seen by anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. Couple cards protected by a secret question and personal guest links are only as private as the people you share them with.
10Your choices and rights
- Edit your sites and cards any time from your dashboard, or ask us to take them down.
- Remove guests from your cards whenever you like.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails with one click.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or to delete your account and its content.
To make a request, email support@onlinepresence.app or use the contact form from the email address on your account.
11Security and retention
We use encrypted connections, verified sign-in sessions and access controls for our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in email safe. We keep your data while your account is active, and delete it when you ask us to, except records we must keep by law.
12Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
