Ashford & Vale was founded in Mayfair in 1998 on a simple conviction: that the finest homes are rarely advertised, and never sold in a hurry. We act for a small number of families, founders and estates, representing residences that change hands quietly and interiors that are drawn, made and finished by hand.
Today our partners work from London, Dubai and Dhaka, bringing acquisition, architecture and interior design under one roof. Every commission is led by a partner from the first conversation to the moment the keys are handed over, and long after.

From a first conversation to the keys, and long after.
Step 1 of 4: A private conversation
We meet in Mayfair, Dubai or wherever suits you, to understand how you live and what you are looking for.
Step 2 of 4: A considered search
Your partner presents a short, discreet selection, most of it unlisted, with full surveys and our candid view.
Step 3 of 4: Design and making
Our studio draws the interior with you, then oversees every craftsman, material and finish on site.
Step 4 of 4: The keys, and after
We hand over a finished home, fully staffed if you wish, and remain on call for as long as you own it.

The Partners
Every commission is led personally by one of our three partners.
Eleanor founded the house in 1998 after a decade advising private banks on prime London property.
An architect by training, Julian leads the studio and has restored more than forty listed homes.
Samira opened our Gulf and South Asia offices and advises families with homes across three continents.

What private clients most often ask before we meet.
Most are not. The majority of homes we represent change hands privately, and are shown only to clients who have met a partner and agreed to our confidentiality terms.
Yes. Our London, Dubai and Dhaka offices act for families across Europe, the Gulf and South Asia, and our partners travel to meet clients wherever is most convenient.
Certainly. The atelier accepts a small number of independent interior commissions each year, from a single floor to the complete restoration of a listed house.
Every client relationship is covered by a private-client agreement. We never publish addresses, names or photographs without written consent, and viewings are arranged discreetly.
